My Galaxy S2 with Android 4.0 ICS Official Update

I successfully updated my Samsung Galaxy S2 via Kies with officially released Ice Cream Sandwich firmware update. Took me about 20 minutes to complete the process. Once the OS settled it was running smoothly, at first with some minor freezes on the camera but after a few minutes it was working fine. The Process After you connect your Galaxy to your computer with Kies opened it should tell you if the firmware update is available. Then proceed forward. After the package is downloaded your phone will enter downloading state and start to install (you will see the Android on your screen and a progress bar), after that it will appear again but with a cool animation and later it'll boot twice. After the second boot the update will be over and you will have your phone ready to use. Take notice After first boot you will have a stock configuration of widgets, windows and shortcuts, not the ones you used to have. This part I didn't like... You will have to reconfigure your initial windows like you had them before the update. The good - I didn't have to make a backup, during the update process the phone backups itself. After the update is complete you will have all your data, settings, accounts, etc. with no changes at all. - No carrier issues so far, phone basic capabilities working just fine. - I ran a benchmark process with Quadrant Standard and got more than 4k. Performance improvement from Gingerbread tough. The Bad - The browsing experience now it's faster but with NO FLASH support. BAD. - No camera shortcut on lock screen. - No fast photo shoot. - No landscape picture. - With the touchwiz it feels like you are using Gingerbread all over again with some minor changes, I was hoping a much different and newer environment, bad bad Samsung, me not happy. FOR THOSE who think this is a Galaxy S.... It's not! this is a Galaxy S2, the international version, the first version to hit the international market.
