CAG Indicts Army Chief General V K Singh

The CAG has indicted the commander of 2 Cores (Corps) for misappropriation of money. The amount had been sanctioned for repair of buildings but was allegedly channelised to construct a swanky new Club House during the period 2007-2008. The 2 Corps commander during that period was General VK Singh, who is the current Army Chief.
