iPhone top of screen touch not responding fix workaround using browser and general plist
NOTE: I was under a false impression that setting 16 is not good, but after testing it, it is BETTER than 15 and makes it easier to hit the top of the screen. This trick adds a touch sensitivity setting inside your General Settings. 0 is a high sensor and 16 being the lowest sensor (the BEST for this problem). Default setting is 3.5. Find the General.plist file at Applications/Preferences.app Download from iPhone and edit. Add a new item (type Dictionary) in the array In the new item add TWO items 1st Key = cell 1st Type = String 1st Value = PSLinkCell 2nd Key = label 2nd Type = String 2nd Value = Touch Upload back and enjoy. I use setting 16 when I want to reach the top It basically makes the area of effect huge so when you hit below the button it clicks the button. This makes it funny to use the phone since your clicks are off by a margin, but it gets the job done. The default is 3.5 so which back to it when your done. Or just keep it that way. It's kind of useable after some practice. Peace.
