Nikon D800 HDSLR Unboxing and Overview
Take an in-depth look inside the box of the Nikon D800 HDSLR ( $2999 MSRP), a 36.3 megapixel, full frame camera that also captures 1080 30p video. Featuring a magnesium-alloy weather-sealed body, dual SD and CF card slots, and advanced autofocus and metering systems, the D800 takes high-resolution to the next level. After the unboxing, digital camera expert Michael J. McNamara shows you many of the other features and controls that will help users capture better photos, and also does a side-by-side comparison between the D800 and the Nikon D800E (priced $300 higher.) The D800E has a modified Optical Low Pass Filter that may help to improve resolution, although at the cost of higher moire patterns in extremely-fine detailed areas.
UPDATE The cameras I show in this video were provided for testing and were not purchased, so as you'll see in the video, the box is missing the manuals and warranty cards. That's typical of review units, however, I received the manual in PDF format.)
