Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX vs. Samsung Galaxy Nexus Dogfight Part 1
The Verizon Android dogfights continue! Aaron compares the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The MAXX rocks a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, gigantic 3,300 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with Motorola's UI. The Galaxy Nexus comes with a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD (720p) display, a 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing shooter, 1,850 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Both pack 4G LTE connectivity, so you'll be surfing the web and downloading apps without trouble.
The DROID RAZR MAXX blows the competition away in battery life (Motorola estimates 21.5 hours of talk time on a single charge, and they're not far off), but the Galaxy Nexus has Ice Cream Sandwich. Which one is the must-have phone? Part 1 of 2.
