How to Strip Insulation From Copper Wire
Today I am going to show you how to strip copper wire. You will need a block of wood, a pointy screw, and tools. First drill a hole the size of your wire all the way through a block of wood, also drill a pilot hole for a screw perpendicular to the first hole. Put the screw in the second hole so that the tip is barely in the first hole then undo the screw a little bit and put your wire through the hole with about a half inch sticking out, so you can grab it. Now tighten down the screw a little bit so it just scores the wire then pull the wire through. Now at the end get a knife an cut the score for a 1/2 inch an pull on the copper it should rip right out of the plastic and save the copper for recycling copper is $3.50 a pound.
